Marriage according to Oxford dictionary is the legally or formally recognized union of two people as partners in a personal relationship (historically and in some jurisdictions specifically a union between a man and woman). According to our view marriage is the relationship between man and woman who have decided to live together as a husband and wife. The institution of marriage exist in every society its universal institution. However ,types of marriage differ from society to society.

                                                    YPES OF MARRIAGE

Polygamy is the type of marriage n which men can Carry more than one women at the same time. Polygamy still exist in many countries especially in Muslim countries. The law of majority Muslim states are derived from their religion. Taking more than one wife is considered normative behaviour in Muslim countries. However in other countries polygamy is considered as unlawful and unethical practice. Polygamy are further divided into two types which are sororal polygamy and non sororal polygamy. The word sororal is derived from Latin word soror which means sisters. When a man is married with two sisters simultaneously is called sororal polygamy. Non sororal polygamy in this type of marriage man is married to more than one women but the wives are not blood related or sisters.

Polyandry ,when one woman is married with more than one men is called polyandry. This type of marriage still exist in some African and Indian tribes. Polyandry is further divided into two types ,which are fraternal and non fraternal polyandry. Fraternal polyandry is when brothers take one woman as a wife is called fraternal polyandry. This type of marriage is still practical by the tribe of India namely Todas tribe and non fraternal polyandry husbands of women are not related with one another. It's up to women ,whom the husband she chose to live with.

Monogamy is universal type of marriage which almost exist in every society. In such type of marriage one man marry with one woman. Monogamy is further divided into two types which are follow monogamy and serial monogamy. Straight monogamy this is the type of marriage in which straight monogamy man and woman cannot marry again in case of divorce or in case of spouse death and serial monogamy. In serial monogamy man and woman can marry other person in case of divorce and death of spouse.

Group marriage ,in group marriage a group of women marry with a group of men. All of them have common wives and husbands.

How marriage become a fashion ,marriage become a fashion in the instance where man and woman enter in marriage fo leasure ,for certain interest ,for coping from other people and when partners enter into marriage but not committed to be in marriage.

There are some circumstances which render marriage to become a fashion.

Education status ;this happen when the educated people or students who are in studies they are interested to be married with the persons who have acquired education like themselves. This situation occurs when man who is educated or woman who is educated enter into relationships because a person whom is entered into is educated but there is no marriage plan. Also this situation occurs when educated person enter into relationship with a person who is not educated but may be for a certain interest and there after a marriage break up.

Wealth ;this happen when a person enter into marriage because a person whom is entered into is a rich person ,for example a woman may enter in the marriage because man is a rich person and may be ,he has rewarded a lot of money and gifts for her parents. Not only for women but also for men ,may happen when a man agree to be married with a woman who belongs a lot of money but without marriage plan ,within a short time marriage break up.

Ignorance ;this happen when partners in marriage fail to understand or to be aware about what marriage constitute. For example this occurs when wife and husband do not perform their responsibility in marriage like respect between husband and wife ,care and in endless conflict ,this results break up of marriage.

Peer pressure ;this happen when man and woman enter into a marriage by the influence of other people of the same age ,may be his/her colleges are in marriage and also he/she is convinced to into marriage without plan ,at the end of the day marriage break up.

Western culture ;this happen for the persons who have adopted western culture ,for example may happen wife and husband enter into marriage by contract and after a time of contract the marriage become closed.

Globalization ;this happen when man and woman enter into marriage after to meet in social medias ,for example E-mail ,Facebook ,Whatsapp ,Instagram ,Radio and Television while they are not understand in deed one another. After to into marriage and then discovered that their behaviors are not related to live together, at the end of the day marriage break up.

When the mentioned below happens it is easy to discover that the kind of marriage is just for fashion.

Lack of respect in marriage, this happen when wife and husband who are in marriage do not maintain respect with one another as a marriage need ,for example Tanzanian traditional and African traditional wife and husband should respect each other especially wives who are more subordinate to their husband and failure to do so is to beak traditional ,at the result marriage break up.

Untrue love ;this happen when husband or wife decide to cheat or fall in love with other people apart from his wife or her husband ,and this may occur when a wife demand money and things at the extent that a husband cannot afford ,failure to do so the marriage beak up.

Unnecessary conflict; this occurs when wife and husband live in conflict situation which is not necessary, for example may happen a husband is from work to his home when he reach at home he try to ask his wife where is food a wife may answer the food is in the kitchen you may follow or husband may ask water to wash his body and wife may answer you can take yourself there after conflict start and at the end of the day marriage break up.

Divorce;this is the key concept in breakup of marriage and this happen when man and woman who are in marriage decide to close the file of their marriage by divorce ,and this give opportunity for each of them to start a new life where a man can be married to another woman and woman can marry another man or to stay single as most of Tanzanians say.

How marriage become a fundamental act; marriage become a fundamental act when results happiness and excellence in life.

When the listen below happen it is easy to recognize that a marriage is for fundamental act.

True love ,this happen when the persons who are in marriage bear difficult circumstances that occurs in life example disease and any other problem in life.

Honest ;this happen when the persons who are in marriage do not cheat one another or do not fall in love with other people apart from his wife or her husband.

Respect ;this happen when the marriage is full of respect for both husband and wife out and inside the house.

Co-operation; this happen when wife and husband assist one another in all difficulties that happen to them and plan together to simplify life.

Care; this happen when both wife and husband maintain a state of care for each other ,for example greeting and communication of important information concerning their life.

In conclusion, marriage has become a fashion for most of Tanzanians the people do not live ethical life and want to live life which is out of their control. When happen a person wants to live the life which is out of his/her control cannot result happiness and excellence in marriage. It is a time now for Tanzanians particularly the educated persons who are the role model of the society by starting to live ethical life. Nowadays we have reached at a time where the marriage that concern educated people break up at highest extent compared to uneducated persons. So now it is the time for educated persons to change their minds by living ethi life in marriage which result happiness and excellence.
