             Literature,   is the work of art that use language to compose a message to the society. Is written   material such as poetry, novels, essays work of imagination characterized by excellence of style and expression and by themes of general or enduring interest https://www.dictionary.com

Children literature,  is defined as material written and produced for the information or entertainment  of children  and young  adults .it included  all non-fiction ,literary and  artistic genres and physical  formats. In the early days of library of congress, children books arrived in an unsystematic fashion https://www.loc.gov.
According to Wikipedia the free encyclopedia  children literature  as anything that  children read or more specifically  define as fiction , nonfiction, poetry ,drama that  is intended  for and use  by children  and young people. Generally  children literature  include  stories ,books and poems  that  are enjoyed  by children .children  literature  can be traced  to  stories and songs , part  of a wide oral  tradition   that  adult  shared   with children before  publishing  existence. It’s a material written or produced for the information or entertainment of children or young adults.
 The following are the reason as to why ROALD DAHL'S MATILDA is studied under the genre of children literature.  In summary Matilda is a story about a young girl called Matilda wormwood is an extremely intelligent little girl. Sadly , she is misunderstood by her family  because she is very different , as time passes ,Matilda  starts a school  that ha a kind teacher  miss honey , loyal and friends  and a kid hating headmistress miss Trunchbull . as she gets  tired  of the constant  cruelty , she begins  to realize  she has telekinetic power s. after a few days  of practice  she learn  to control  her powers . She plans on turning   the table on the terrible grown ups in her life.
Matilda book  contain  illustration , this refers to  an art  of drawing ,painting or  printed  work  of art  which explains, clarifies different  elements  in children books. In this book  there are  various  illustration  in each  page  which  show  the action  of different characters include   Matilda  who plays  a great role  to perform   a big  actions  that is contrary  to her age. for example  in chapters from chapter one( 1) up to chapter twenty  one (21)there is the use of different  illustration in both chapters.
The book contain  interesting stories,  the stories in this book attract both children  and adult  for reading  because the one who  performing   action  is too young who perform in each stories  from the first chapter to the last chapter , and it’s interesting  because  Matilda performing difficult action that is impossible to be done  for a girl who is under 5 years, for example  in chapter three Matilda  put superglue in hat of Mr. wormwood Matilda's father  as a sign of revenge   after being not allowed to go to the dining room to eat and read her book .  because Mr. wormwood and his wife they denied or ignore her and order her to eat in with the all family so Matilda was angry and decide to make a revenge to her father by putting a super glue on hat that make Mr. wormwood to look like lice as Matilda said .So it’s interesting to see Mr. Wormwood decide to sleep while the hat is in the head.
Story based in truth  in the contemporary  society this means  the stories which is discussed  in this book  are similar  to  our  contemporary , the way Matilda  live and her family , Matilds life in school most of the event that are shown in the book there are even in our society  for example MAtildas life with her family she was considerd as nothing or ignorance that she can not do anything for the better of the family even in  for example  in chapter five Mr. wormwood  Matilda's father stop  Matilda to speak when  she wanted to answer the question " but dad……." Shut up the father said.  This show that was not allowed to answer anything when Mr.  Wormwood speaks.
        Also the truth in Matilda's life at school is between miss honey and miss Trunchbull   miss honey play a great role in  as a good one who care for the student and love them also miss Trunchbull  act as the bad character who is not love his own student. So this things even in our society there some teacher in schools who are like miss honey and miss Trunchbull.
It is happy and humor, humor is a literary tool that makes an audience to   laugh that intended to include amusement the aims is to break   monotory and bored and makes the audience relax. In this book most of stories are makes audience to be happy. For example in chapter twenty when miss Trunchbull fall down after seeing the miracle when chalk write in the black book that miss Trunchbull should pay the wages to miss honey and also to bring back the house to miss honey so the situation of miss Trunchbull to fall down in the floor its happy for the reader of the book its because of the bad behavior of miss Trunchbull. And also in chapter three when Mr. Wormwood hat ad superglue in the head that make them to sleep with it.
 Matilda book have Literary element, refers to the techniques   
style  and forming  used by writers and speakers  to masterfully  and to emphasize the composition for example in matilda thre is characters, setting and plot.
              Characters are Matilda, Mr. and Mrs. wormwood Matilda's parents, miss honey and miss Trunchbull matilda's teachers at  Crunchem hall primary school,  Michael  wormwood Matilda's brother ,Mrs. Phelps librarian, Hortesia and lavender are  Matilda's friends in school.
             Setting in this book there different setting for example at home where   matilda live with his family, also there is setting of school were matilda studied and meet with miss honey and miss trunchbull and also there was the setting in library were matilda used to read different books for example Nicholas Nickle by Charles dickens, Oliver twist by Charles Dicken, Skim by Rudyard kipling and other books and plot.
 Matilda book is simple and straight forward, that means the events are arranged from the beginning to the end For example the in Matilda's first is straight forward   that show that Matilda is a little  girl  who is very eager to learn eventually.  Her parents send her to a school run by miss Trunchbull .she is a cruel authoritarian that she was not love the student, Matilda be friends to miss honey. She soon realizes    talents, but is later amazed to see the full extent of Matilda's powers. that the event started from the beginning to the end that the story beginning to show the young girl Matilda teach herself to read and the way she was been treated by parents as ignorant and stories continue to show the life style of Matilda in school the way she was behaved in school and lastly story ending by Matilda shows is strength to her parent and to miss Trunchbull.
Matilda book contain different actions. Actions is the mode that writers use to show what is happening at any given moment in the story. It is the physical movement of the characters in story.  in this story  in each chapter there are actin performing  by Matilda who  presents young girls with talent ,intelligent that other children can learn  different  from her , and  always  Matilda action  ends with  victory and happy even though  she passed  in different condition. For example Matilda is not loved by her parents at all than her brother Michael but she always become a hero.
Conclusion, children literature helps to increase interest and induce children to be creative, brilliant, smart genius and improve language among children. Also it helps to   increase confidence and freedom to the difficulties conditions. Children literature play great role in educating, criticizing, to entertaining societies as what is Matilda did in this story.
