Haycock,kafi(2001)closing the achievement gap; defined a school as the formal placeor environment where by learning and teaching process takes place .the term gap as used in question means the variation of status among two things with the same or different characteristics,Haskins,Ron james kempke (2009). A new goal for Americans high school, the future of children defined society as the group of people who share the same history, language and culture although those people can vary in same aspects
 According to anthropologist ON Studying society defined society as a group of people or community occupying a certain geographic locality and sharing the same culture.
In Tanzania in order to remove a gap between the society and schools the following ways should be done.
 Education service should  relate with the society, Tanzanian education system still is in the colonial master than do not relating to the life of real society surrounding them, therefore in order to remove the gap the schools and Universities should change the Education system syllabus and curriculum
There should be interaction between school and society, means that there should be connection of knowledge thought in school with a certain society or in other way we can say application of knowledge thought in school should fit the society.
Parents should interact in giving there decision about the Education process by cooperating with teachers on assessing the students development. but in Tanzania the parents believes that teachers are the only one who have a responsibility to check the students development something that is wrong they have to know that they are owners of both students and school compounds so they have to make a decision so as to develop the education and removing the gap through interacting with teachers in decision making, through that the gap between the school and society can be removed.
Also the education service provided should be more practically than theoretically because due to theoretically based education we produce none well trained professional for example a physician teacher may teach u how to connect electricity theoretically  through only paper writing things which led to production of in well trained which can't meet the need of the society
 In general the government have a great role to remove such gap by ensuring that what learn in schools relate to the society that can help to reflect social development but not only itself the parents and society in general are the main component to remove it by providing there views or decision on the education system also the opponents should interact with society so as employ themselves in dairy activities basing on farming, carpentry and livestock keeping that are performed in dairy society life through that the gap can be removed
 Re-establishment of of the Educational policies, ; Education policies as the reference to educational framework and system that governing and directing education sector in Tanzania, for example the re-establishment of school curriculum because the curricular is Dynamic that change year to year according to the say of reader into power and the education tool like books have to be relevant to society example in the advance and secondly schools there is mathematics, biology, history and chemistry that are non applicable in the society rather than studying the colonial legacy that undermines our thinking cause it not of own Tanzanian plan.
 Language to be used in education process should be considered ; language is most factor influencing the gap between school and society because the language used an teaching from nursery up to University is the English and other foreign languages that is not used in the society,so the way to remove such gap is the change in the language that is used in education process by introducing the Swahili language in all levels of education from nursery to University whether the government or private school the only language to be used should be Swahili that is used mostly in all parts of Tanzania rather than using English and French that are differ to society language that is swahili we use
