 The  following  are  the  strength  and weakness  of  Tyler  and  wheeler  curriculum  development by  starting  with a  Tyler  they  are strength and  weakness
Strengths of Tyler models

b)      It seem  lack  a procedure  between evaluation and is execution  for example  they  do not  apply  to all subject  or  the  design   of a subject  contents 
c)      It sees curriculum development as a fixe linear process
d)     The  division  of labor  at  various  point  or step  are  fixed  so  curriculum actors   are  un  aware  of what  others  do 
e)      It cannot account for the many / complex outcomes learning
 Strength  cyclic model (wheel) process
a)      It has  a feedback  mechanism  ,so  it  provide  student   with  ways  to measure  their  progress  or  accuracy
b)      It also sets the school objective as a final step as well as the first. It clearly calls for the setting up of objectives
