Does science and technology influence industrialization. How?
Hewitt, (1992) define Science as the body of knowledge involves the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through the observation (social science) and experiment (natural science). It is the knowledge which is acquired through systematic study or practice.
Technology means the application of science for practical purpose. It’s application of scientific knowledge to solve problems. Therefore technology produce wealthy by use the knowledge produced by science.
Hewitt, (1992) define Industrialization as the process of applying machines in the production in every field of life. This process increasing production and minimize time spending in production process.  The Tanzania government through Tanzania development goals of 2025 plain to industrialize all sectors in 2025
It’s true that science and technology has great roles towards industrialization.  The following are the factors on how science and technology influence industrialization.
Through scientific research, the research findings and conclusions leads to innovation and discovered of various machines that applied in various sector such as industrial, agriculture, transport sectors in which their influence industrialization. Therefore, scientific research that leads innovation of various machine applied in industry influence industrialization. In Tanzania through Tanzania's  development  vision  of 2025 emphasize  on scientific  research by encouraging  and funding  various scientific research projects that will lead innovation of machine and other technological equipment  applied in industry  sector and in other sectors like agriculture  so as to solve  the problem of lack of technology in production process. Example there is Naliendele agricultural research in Mtwara that produce different modern chemical and seeds to improvement agriculture sectors.
Science and technology leads infrastructure developmental. The development of transport system and infrastructure such as road, railways, Port, airport and buildings,  The transport system facilitate  transportation  of raw materials to feeds industry  and transport manufactured goods and services to internal and external market  .as result lead industrialization because   it prepared  conducive environment for investors  with modern technology to come and invest  in industry  and other sectors..  Tanzania through its  Tanzania development vision  of 2025  start to work out on developing  transport system in both rule and urban areas that facilitates  transportation  of raw materials  and manufacturing  goods and services to internal  and external market as well as transfer workers to work places. And this will giant industrialization in Tanzania.
Science and technology leads innovation and discovered of various machines and devices that applied on production system in Industry and other economic sectors as result leads industrialization.  Tanzania’s development vision of 2025 plan to employ machine that discovered from science research to small industry, middle industry and processing industry
like SIDO,  sugarcane industry,  textile  industry.  Tanzania government funding and provides some assistance like capital to those industry.
Science and technology influence availability  of power such as electric power and gas power which are very essential  in industry  to operate  Industry machines  as result leads industrialization because these machines  used in industrial production demand adequate  power  that exploited from water, gas ,wind, and sun through  various innovated technology as result leads industrialization.  Tanzania through Tanzania's development vision of 2025 start to invest in electric and gas power to ensure the availability of power that will be applied in industry to giant industrialization in Tanzania.  Example standard gorge electricity power projects
Science and technology influence the development of agriculture.  The application of different machine, chemicals, and ant-pest medical that brought from scientific research lead development of agriculture .The agriculture products used as raw materials to feeds industry as result industrialization. Tanzania its vision of 2025 encouraging  agriculture  by provide subsides and aids like chemicals,  seeds,  machines and fertilizer to be applied in farming by farmers.
Science and technology improve education system that facilitates the availability of skilled labor who works in industry to manage and operate various machines and lead industrialization.  Due to the development of ICT facilitate the availability of books and other academic materials easy that increase educated people and improve education system.  Tanzania's  development vision of 2025 insist on employing technology devices to improve education systems and gets enough skilled labor and literate people to operate various  machines in industry and in management department as result facilitates  industrialization in Tanzania.
Generally, Tanzania government through its  development  vision of 2025 expect to reach middle economy in 2025 by improving education system,  agriculture sector,  transport system by employing the use of technology and preparing conducive environment to internal and external investors in various sector .  And also government it's  self invest and funding various sectors as well as encouraging science and technology research to improve science and technology that cope up with Tanzania culture and environment.
