A newspaper is a publication printed on paper and issued regularly, usually once a day or once a week. It gives information and opinions about current events and news. Newspaper usually have many topics. They usually include political events, crime, business,sports, and whether news.[1]

There are two types of citing newspaper.

A.    Citing print news papers

B.     Citing online newspapers

Citing print newspaper

In citing print newspapers, the following element must be considered.

1.      Name of the Author.[2]

The name of the Author stating with Sur name followed by initial name.

Example Kapinga, D.

2.      Date of the article[3].

Give the date the article was published starting with the four-digit year, a comma, the month not abbreviated, and the day all in parentheses with a period outside the second parentheses.

Example.

(2021,February 5.)

3.      Title of the article.[4]

Capitalizedonly first word and any proper nouns.

Example. Trump administration says Israeli settlements aren’t illegal

4.      Name of the newspaper.[5]

Capitalized only first word, proper nouns, and all important words. Italicize separate title from page numbers with a comma.

Example.The guardian

5.      Page numbers.[6]

Begin with p. If the article is one page long.Use pp. if it is more tan one page long all page of the article be listed (for example: pp A1 A4)

Example. P. A1.

Citing online newspaper

In citing newspaper article in online the element must be consider.

1.      Name of the Author.[7]

The name of the Author stating with Sur name followed by initial name.

Example.Mathias, l.

2.      Date of the article.[8]

Give the date the article was published starting with the fourdigit year, a comma, the month not abbreviated, and the day all in parentheses with a period outside the second parentheses.

Example.

(2021, February 5.)

3.      Title of the article.[9]

 Capitalized only first word and any proper nouns.

Example. Trump administration says Israeli settlements aren’t illegal

4.      Name of the newspaper.

Capitalized only first word, proper nouns, and all important words. Italicize separate title from page numbers with a comma.

Example. The guardian

5.      URL. This is the address of web page.

Example. http;//www.wsj,com/articles/trump-administration-to-say-iserael-settlement-arent-illegal-11574104691.
