              Stella Maris Mtwara University College (STEMMUCO) started as a University Centre of St Augustine University of Tanzania (SAUT) in 2009 in accordance with the mission and vision of the University which foresees the holistic formation of a person for the national development. It was purposefully established in southern Tanzania so as to uplift the zone in education and development panacea. This University has various uniquenesses.The following are the points for the uniqueness of Stella Maris Mtwara University College.

            STEMMUCO is unique in term of location. Location is the one among of the factor which makes this University to be very unique. First, this University is located near with Indian Ocean and it takes few minutes for a someone to reach at the ocean, Second it is near with harbor is located near with port something which makes this University to attract people who come from the region like Mwanza and Morogoro because in that regions there is no Ocean. Thus this is the uniqueness of STEMMUCO.

            Also STEMMUCO is unique in terms of the numbers of students. The number of students in Stemmuco is very few compared to the other Universities like UDSM .At the beginning this University it had large number of students than now days, the number of students now days it decrease. Hence this uniqueness of Stemmuco.

            It is only University found in Mtwara region. Stella Maris Mtwara University College, Mtwara region has only one University which makes this University to be very unique,mostt of the regions like Morogoro has more than one Universities something which makes this University to be very unique.Thus because Stemmuco it only University found in Mtwara it is uniqueness of of this University.

            Stella Maris Mtwara University college a unique in terms of University motto. Stella Maris Mtwara University college have a motto of University which state that "Education is the light of hope “so through this motto found in Stella Maris Mtwara University college only. Therefore  University motto it make unique of Stella Maris Mtwara University college.

             Stemmuco also is unique in term of covered area. This University covers very small area and this area  covers various buildings like secondary school(Mtwara sisters secondary school) ,the church and the university both are covered in the same area. Thus something which is not good for the secondary school and the University to be covered at the same area.

Generally, Most of the uniqueness of stemmuco are bad uniquenesses,for example few numbers of the students, covered in small area, so the owner  of this University should ensure they find a good for promoting this University in 2 order  to increase the number of students.

      Unominishaji, habwe na kavanja [2007] ni hali ya kuunda nomino kutoka katika kategolia nyingine ya neno. Kategolia hizi zinaaweza kuwa kitenzi, kivumishi, au nomino yenyewe.
