 According  to the  Edward  sapirs (sapir`S,E 1884-1939).H
e  say  that  language  and  literature are two  things  that  never  cannot separated  ir explained ,therefore  language  is called  as the  medium  of literature .This  why language  it sayed  that  to be  a medium  of  literature become  all things which using  language  .So as  to expressed  the  message  to the  contemporary society through showing  different  things  which taking  place  in  our  societies 
  Language  is the  medium  in literature  because  language  as  marbles  or bronze  that are materials  of the  sculptor .Since  language  has  its  distinctive  peculicirities  the  innate  formal  lamination  and  possibilities of one  literature  are never  quite  the same  as the  form and  substance  of a language  has  the  color  and  texture  of  its  matrix
 Literature it can be  defined  as a work  of  art  that  using  creatively  language  to expression  human  realities  through  different  literary  work  for example  novels play  ,poetry  and short  that are differ from  other  work  or  to  classify our discovered and evidence  on the  literary work  like  poetry that classified the principle  that  may a part poet follow  .when  comparies  different  poems
 Through  using  language  he  show  its this  through  using  the chines poem  is good example  and  English  poem  when says  that English poem  always  written  through ending  with vowel while chines  poem ended  with the  consonant sound  of the end of the verse  in the stanza .And  he  say that each poem  must be  have  the  figure of speech such as rhyme ,refrain ,alternation  and can be from  in verse  and stanza 
 Therefore  Edward sapir he tries to  show  how language  does not  separated  with literature because  the  language  is the  a medium of language  .This  it  help  us  to understand that without language  no liretuture ,therefore language  literature is very  important to  literature because  literature help us  to know and understand  various  things it can be good or bad
