Dependency theory refers to the theory that proposed that some countries and societies are poor but not because of their traditional culture, attitudes and values but it's because they are dominated and exploited by the rich and powerful countries. This theory show how powerfully countries developed through domination of all aspect of life that done by them to the underdeveloped countries

The dependency theory a rise as the reaction to modernization theory an earlier theory of development which held that all societies progress through similar stage of development those areas. Have task of helping underdeveloped countries out of poverty through investment, technology transfer and closer integration into the world market.

The following are the factors that show how the dependency theory related with the societies

                   People from poor nation provide marketing by buying manufacturing goods from the powerful countries, examples clothes, shoes, and various machines from China this situation cause to expand market of China so due this cause the more importation than exportation situation that cause the internal market to decline and cause societies of poor countries to become dependent of capitalist manufactured goods

                Poor counties provide raw materials like minerals, cotton, sisal, and animals skin to the powerful countries that used to feed their industries than manufactured goods return in poor countries and people buying it by high price situation that cause pour countries to become dependent of European countries this is because through this situation it's cause development of industries in powerful countries due to availability of raw materials that help to feed their industries while pour countries remains as producer

                 Education system that provides in poor countries it's based on the theoretical than practical, so due this it's cause our scholars to be low ability of thinking of creativity and innovators situation that cause the development of science and technology in the poor countries to be low and to depends technology from foreigners example in Tanzania socialites have a large numbers of engineering but most of the transportation infrastructures like roads, airport, and railway constructed by foreign engineering so that show that African still until nowadays to depends technology from powerful nations

              Cultural interference, examples most of people in developing countries like Tanzania adopted foreign culture like in wearing style from Europe and America situation that cause to expand European culture while African culture to decline and cause African to driving by European culture so that show on how African dominated by Europe in development of life style

              Poor nation has no their real political system, example most of the election that practiced in poor countries especially in Tanzania foreigners come to see on how our election going on and allowed to comment, judging and reporting all details about election the worldwide this while us wear not allowed to do this in their election so due this show how powerfully national control developing countries in development of politically and also poor nation conduct election by condemns from powerful nation

               Poor nation's depends medicine from the powerful national examples the medicine that help to reduced the power of viruses that show on how poor countries depends the improvement of health services from powerful countries also provided condom in order to prevent the spread of HIV /AIDS.

In generally dependency theory attempt to explain the present under development countries in the world by examining the patterns of interaction among nations and arguing that inequality among nations is an intrinsic part of those interactions.
